Our first stop was, of course, at the Swiss Temple in Bern. It was so peaceful out and we just took our time walking around and feeling that feeling that only the temple offers.

After we left the temple, we continued on our journey towards Interlaken and Lauterbrunnen. This is the first snapshot of the Swiss Alps that we could grab. We both looked out the window and said, "C'fare ne bote!?!?" (What in the world!?!)
We were driving along just singing, dancing, blabbing in our wonderful English/Albanian dialect and then BLAM-O! This comes creeping in out of nowhere, right outside the driver's side window. Welcome to Interlaken.
Had we not been in a restriced parking spot, I have no doubt that I would've hurled myself off of this diving board on this pier. But we decided to let this cute young couple enjoy it in peace.
Downtown Interlaken was quaint and ridiculously expensive! We paid 7 euros for our icecream and in Germany it would maybe be 3 euros! We walked up and down the main streat and admired all the stores, the hotels, the people, and the surroundings.

I can not believe you drove 122 mph... are you crazy? Craving some need for speed? You just make sure you buckle up - click it or ticket! lol
